Can I ask has Ann Keen Mp been invited this year?

I only ask as a Fun Day should NOT be political and i feel its wrong she should be there.

Why Not this year invite our Mayor and Deputy Mayoress to open the Fun Day etc instead of a MP who is not wanted in Isleworth.

She probably has, you know as well as I do, that the Diva is an icon of the Red Banner Brigade. bom

I feel the Funday needs Glamour there so why hasn't the Lady Mayoress been invited as lets face it, the Funday does not need a Horse face old wrinkly opening it again.

Mmmm...if it's going to turn into a beauty contest between the MP and the Deputy Mayor then I'd better stay out of this as it's difficult for me to be impartial. One of them gives me a hard time, never speaks to me and thinks I'm the Devil Incarnate....the other is Ann Keen!!! Laughing

Seriously though, I've just been over to the Funday and it looks to be a really good event. Hounslow Homes, the police, Notting Hill Housing Group, the new RA and many others have stalls set out, and it is really well attended. Well done to everyone concerned.

I am advised that Ann Keen was told she would be welcome to attend, but it would be in a personal capacity and without a fanfare of trumpets. So far, she hasn't shown up...

I would also like to congratulate all those concerned in organising this years FunDay. As you say Phil it was a really
good event.
The Diva must have been waiting in the wings for Phils departure, as she made her appearance shortly after he left.
All in all the day was a great success with the weather staying fine throughout the event. Once again well done
everyone involved.
With the new Residents Association now in place lets make
the 2008 FunDay even greater.
