I can't help but notice that contact details for the URA include only telephone numbers and a postal address. Is there an email address that people could contact you on? This is a far more convenient mode of communication for most (including the residents in my block who I've spoken to). It also means they can contact you 24 hrs 7 days a week rather than worrying about phoning at a convenient time. Of course, responses wouldn't be expected 24 hrs a day!
I also think it's strange that the URA newsletter, that comes through our doors, doesn't have the web address of this forum or the URA website. Surely to make use of it residents have to know about it. As a new block rep I'll be trying to publicise the forum to all my neighbours as we already have a number of concers about cleaning in the block.

always send a private email message via this forum.
Regard the newsletter, the web address of the website is at the top of the newsletter is at the top of the newsletter. The website has a link to this forum.
