Hello All,

I very recently moved into the estate and just came across this forum today. I think it's a great idea to share news and ideas but it seems to me to be horribly under-used. I was wondering how this forum, and website, is publicised. Would it be an idea to put up posters about it around the estate? I knew nothing about it and came accross this site by chance; I think it's a terrible shame that more people aren't contributing. Any ideas?

Hi JB
May i welcome you to this forum and Ivybridge
The forum is publicised on the Hounslow and also the Brentford Forums together with the Ivybridge website www.ivybridge-online.com and the United residents Association Newsletter of which a new edition will be shortly circulated on the estate. Although viewed by many people only a few are registered users which mean they cannot post on here.
Any ideas to increase registered users will be appreciated. With regard to your idea of putting up posters on the estate, i will make up a poster for this purpose. Maybe you could interest some of your neighbours that are online to register.
Thanks again for joining us and we look foreward to your contributions to our forum.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply! Would it be possible to post some sort of flyer to every flat/property on the estate about the forum and website? I'd be happy to cover the cost of photocopying. It may be a good idea to mention all the benefits of joining such a forum.

Great Idea - I will look into the possibility of inluding a seperate flyer with the next URA Newsletter. Keep the Ideas coming.

I also think the URA chair, Tina, should have a presence on here. If IT guidance is needed, again, I'd be happy to help!
